Right off of your harbor view guest room balcony you’ll be able to watch migratory birds and harbor wildlife. The resort offers seasonal bike rental for your convenience to explore our beautiful and breathtaking natural areas.

Since we are located only 1 block from the Park Point Beach, you’ll be able to have access to 7 miles of sandy beach to view various migratory birds and Lake Superior area wildlife. At the end of Park Point is the Minnesota Point Pine Forest Scientific and Natural Area. It encompasses 18 acres of birding, wildlife, and plant viewing opportunities, and has a scenic nature trail.

The Great Lakes Aquarium is located only 8 blocks from the Park Point Marina Inn. The seasonal Port Town Trolley (June-August) from Canal Park will drop you off at their doorstep.

Hawk Ridge is a nationally recognized birding haven that provides viewing of thousands of birds a day, different times of the year and is located only a few miles from the hotel.

There are charter sailing, fishing, and scenic boat excursions available from the hotel’s docks. Canoe, kayak, and paddle boat rental is available only 2 blocks away.

The Duluth Experience Company offers adventure tours with kayaks, bicycles, and mountain bikes.
