The Park Point Marina Inn is Duluth’s festival and event headquarters. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to Canal Park 7 days a week to bring you even closer to the events. It drops you off right by the seasonal (June-Labor Day) Port Town Trolley stop that goes to Bayfront Park and downtown Duluth. It drops you off 1 block from the DECC and Amsoil lower entrance near the Vista Fleet. We are located within 4 blocks of Canal Park & the Aerial Lift Bridge, 8 blocks from the DECC and Amsoil Arena, and 10 blocks from Bayfront Festival Park and downtown Duluth. We are within easy walking distance from events such as Grandma’s Marathon, William Irvin 5K, Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon, Inline Marathon, Tall Ships, Twin Ports Lighthouse Days, Sailboat Races, and Park Point Sand Modeling Contest. We are a seasonal Port Town Trolley (June-Labor Day) ride away from Bayfront Blues Festival, Battle of the Jug Bands, Twin Port Bridge Festival, Bayfront Reggae and World Music Festival, Sidewalk Days, Bayfront Art Fair, Duluth Superior Pride Festival, Duluth Hot Air Balloon Festival, and all the shows and concerts at the DECC, Pioneer Hall, Amsoil Arena, and Duluth Auditorium.
The 4th of July fireworks cascade right out in front of the hotel over the harbor, and can be seen from the resort in dramatic fashion. They are spectacular.
The Park Point Art Fair, with over 80 artists, and the Park Point Rummage Sale, are located on Park Point just a few miles from the hotel.
Bentleyville is a guest favorite and is held in Bayfront Park. The hotel runs a shuttle for this event. Check with the Concierge Service Center for exact dates and times of the shuttle service.

The annual Duluth Oktoberfest is a festival event held on Friday and Saturday which will have polka music and games like Hammerschlagen, stein holding contest, beer pong, sauerkraut eating race and boot chug contest.
This annual event with over 120 artists participating is a fun family event. It is one of the largest art fairs in the northland and is a favorite of both artists and art connoisseurs.
